Rivals100 wide receiver Laquon Treadwell has been building relationships with schools throughout his recruiting process, but one he had a ready-made connection to was Ole Miss.

Treadwell's former teammate at Crete-Monee (Ill.) High, 2012 defensive back Anthony Standifer, signed with the Rebels this past winter. The Rebels had not been a team Treadwell had shown much interest in before this past week, but on Friday he joined Standifer's mother on a visit to Oxford and came away more intrigued with the program.
