Earlier in the week, Auburn, Ala. athlete Cameron Echols-Luper decided he'd do his due diligence and check out a few schools before deciding on where he'd be playing his college ball the next four years.

After decommitting from Texas A&M earlier in the week, Echols-Luper scheduled visits to TCU and Texas Tech and had his mind made up to make his pick on signing day.

A trip to Fort Worth over the weekend and a heart-to-heart with his father on Sunday put a nix on that.
