Kuhbander chose Northwestern over an offer from Iowa State. He is ranked as the No. 4 kicker in the nation by Kohl's Kicking Camps.
A kicker and punter in high school, Kuhbander became a bit of an internet sensation last month when he kicked a 60-yard field goal while blindfolded.
Kuhbander is the 15th member of Northwestern’s Class of 2017 and its first specialist. The Wildcats’ class is currently ranked 15th in the country by Rivals.
