Collins offers 2017 PG after watching him play

Chris Collins liked what he saw from Kellan Grady last night, so the Northwestern head coach offered the three-star 2017 point guard a scholarship after his game.

Collins was in the stands to watch Grady contribute 11 points, three assists and two steals to help Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon beat Vermont Academy, 77-73. Grady hit 4 of his 9 shots from the floor, including 2-for-5 from 3-point range, according to MaxPreps.

For the season, the 6-foot-3, 175-pounder is averaging 12.4 points, 5.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Grady now reports at least nine offers, including Northwestern and Xavier among Big Six conference schools.

Northfield Mount Hermon is the alma mater of Northwestern freshman forward Aaron Falzon. Northwestern has also offered four-star 2017 forward Tomas Murphy, one of Grady's teammates at NMH.
