Collins signs a first-class first class

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern head men's basketball coach Chris Collins has announced the signing of a stellar four-player recruiting class that will matriculate to Evanston in the fall of 2014.

Forwards Victor Law (South Holland, Ill./St. Rita) and Gavin Skelly (Westlake, Ohio/Westlake) and guards Bryant McIntosh (New Castle, Ind./Greensburg) and Scott Lindsey (Hillside, Ill./Fenwick) comprise the group that signed National Letters of Intent during the early signing period that is currently ranked No. 21 in the nation by ESPN.com.

"We're very excited about this class," Collins said. "We feel like we have addressed a lot of needs in our team. We have added length, athleticism and skill to what we already have in the program. All four are great young men and terrific student-athletes. They all love to play, and that's something that really stood out. They live in the gym and they want to get better. They're hungry to improve and are excited to be a part of our program. All of them are great fits for Northwestern."

Collins on Law: "Vic is a very talented player. He is very versatile, long and athletic. He can play multiple positions. He's very skilled and is a terrific defender. He's going to be able to do a little bit of everything for us. He can score, handle the ball and is a good passer. I think he's a very multi-dimensional player who has a chance to continue to get better. Vic has a huge upside. He has a chance to be a terrific player."
