Fessler chose Northwestern over offers from more than 15 other schools, most notably Nebraska and Boston College, as well as several MAC programs.
The 6-foot-4, 193-pounder camped at Northwestern on June 12, where his performance immediately earned him a scholarship offer. He visited Vanderbilt and Boston College, his other two frontrunners, last week.
Fessler, who will play the outside receiver spot for the Wildcats, is the first receiver of the class.
