Murray is No. 18 for NU

Northwestern landed the 18th member of its Class of 2015 today when Jacob Murray committed to head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
The two-star safety from Coppell (Texas) received his offer from Northwestern in May and chose the Wildcats over offers from Air Force, Navy, Nevada, Northern Illinois and Texas-San Antonio.

Murray's commitment was announced on Twitter by Coppell teammate Charles West.
S/o to my brother @Jake_Murray12 for committing to northwestern today!— charles west〽 (@charles_1_west) July 24, 2014
Murray is the first safety in Northwestern's class, which is currently ranked 18th in the country by Rivals. Simba Short is listed as a safety by Rivals but will play outside linebacker for the Wildcats.
Northwestern is expected to take around 19 players this year, so the Wildcats' class is nearly complete before the end of July.
