NU lands walkon QB
Northwestern beat out Stanford and Nebraska for Class of 2015 preferred walkon quarterback T.J. Green.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder from Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst announced his decision on Twitter on Monday:

Green, the son of former NFL quarterback Trent Green, was named both the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year and USA Today Missouri Offensive Player of the Year in 2014. He threw for 2,651 yards and 33 touchdowns while helping the Hawklets go 12-2 and reach the Missouri Class 6 state championship game.
Green reported offers from Penn and North Dakota State.
