Saturday night’s matchup with Nebraska was the marquee game on Northwestern’s home football schedule. It was also the high point for Northwestern basketball’s fall recruiting season.

The Wildcats hosted several top 2017, 2018 and 2019 targets at Ryan Field. One of them was a 2018 Chicago player whose ties to Northwestern run much deeper than geography.
