Holman, a 5-foot-10, 171-pound slot receiver, visited his final three schools of Northwestern, Boise State and Utah over the last two weeks. He returned from Utah on Friday afternoon and decided to pull the trigger and become a Wildcat the next day.

Holman told WildcatReport via Twitter direct message that “the uniqueness of big time football and a big time degree” was what made him a Wildcat.

Northwestern went into the 2017 recruiting cycle with a pronounced need at wide receiver and have now landed two in the last week. Three-star Jace James picked Northwestern on June 12.

The Wildcats’ class is currently ranked 13th in the nation by Rivals.
