Andrew Leota is the mystery man of the Class of 2018.
Despite drawing offers from eight Power Five programs, including Arkansas, North Carolina and Tennessee, the quiet three-star defensive end largely flew under the recruiting radar.
People have told WildcatReport that Leota loves to play football; he's just not a fan of all the hype that surrounds it. He didn't talk to WildcatReport or any other recruiting media throughout his recruitment, so not much is known about him.
What we do know, we like. He is 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, has a good burst off of the ball and is the all-time sacks leader at Asheville (N.C.) High School. His film is impressive. Fitzgerald calls him a "fast-twitch" guy, and that's a good thing to have for a defensive end.
Maybe Leota will open up to the media once he's on campus. And that will be soon - he's one of five 2018 signees who will start his Northwestern career in January as an early enrollee.
