Northwestern moves up the list for RB Nathaniel Peat

A short distance from the home of 2019 Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge three-star all-purpose back Nathaniel Peat sits the University of Missouri, which competes in the Southeastern Conference.

But it’s the Big Ten that appears most interested in the 5-foot-8, 170-pound speedster. Northwestern is one of five offers Peat is holding from Big Ten schools, with Purdue joining the list on Thursday.

Last weekend, Peat visited Evanston to check out NU’s facilities and see what the Wildcats have to offer. He stayed about 24 hours (Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon) and saw everything the Northwestern football program has to offer, including the sparkling new Ryan Fieldhouse.
