Kyren Williams has had no problems attracting scholarship offers. The standout 2019 athlete from St. Louis (Mo.) St. John Vianney is just a sophomore but already has four Big Ten schools on his offer list.

But his offer on Wednesday from Northwestern was a big one for the 5-foot-10, 177-pound speedster because it was an offer he sought out. It was special because he had to do a little bit of work to earn it.
