There was a lot for 2026 defensive tackle Elijah Berman to like about his gameday visit to Wrigley Field last weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 276-pounder out of Dayton (Ohio) Chaminade-Julienne said watching the Wildcats take on No. 2 Ohio State at the historic ballpark was "a unique experience." He finally got to meet in person the coaches and recruiters he'd only spoken to over the phone. He listened to head coach David Braun explain his vision for the program's future.

Overall, said Berman, "I could feel the love."
