Academics give Northwestern an angle for Texas WR Aljour Miles II
Northwestern entered the arms race for receiver Aljour Miles II with an offer on Jan. 19, becoming the 18th of the now 20 FBS programs to extend Miles a scholarship.
The Wildcats have a strong pitch for Miles, an aspiring engineer, with their blend of Big Ten athletics and elite academics.
"I know that Northwestern has one of the best engineering schools," he said. "I'm definitely excited for that offer."
