Bryant McIntosh has been driving Northwestern’s offense for the last three years, since he was given the keys as a true freshman in 2014-15.

The 6-foot-3, do-everything guard is graduating next year, and the Wildcats on Wednesday offered the player they think can come in and take his place.

Jordan Lathon, a three-star 2018 point guard and the No. 128 player in the nation, caught Northwestern coach Pat Baldwin’s eye during the evaluation period in April and has been talking to the assistant ever since. On Wednesday, Lathon got a call from head coach Chris Collins, who extended him a scholarship offer.
