Going into his unofficial visit to Northwestern on Tuesday, Brad Davison was most looking forward to meeting head coach Chris Collins. Davison admired him as a player -- though he’s too young to have seen him play -- and as a coach at Duke.

So the three-star combo guard from Maple Grove (Minn.) admits that he had pretty high expectations for the meeting. Yet Collins still managed to surpass them.
