Defensive end Raymond Davison has committed to Northwestern.
The two-star prospect from Encino (Calif.) Crespi received his offer from Northwestern in October and the school immediately moved to the top of his leader board. He was planning take an official visit to Evanston before committing but decided on Friday night to pull the trigger.
The commitment was reported by several media outlets.
Davison is the 18th member of Northwestern's Class of 2013. At 6-foot-2 and 218 pounds, Davison is listed as a defensive end by Rivals but could wind up playing either that position or outside linebacker for the Wildcats.
