Northwestern was a little late to the party with Jaylen Rivers. The Wildcats didn’t start talking to the three-star outside linebacker until April and were the 20th school to offer him a scholarship.

But they sure made up for lost time quickly.

The Loganville (Ga.) Grayson standout visited Northwestern for the first time on May 30-31. Two days later Rivers was the 14th commitment in Northwestern’s Class of 2018.
