Jordan Lathon knows exactly who is role model is.

The 2018 Northwestern point guard commit wants to follow in the footsteps of Bryant McIntosh, who took over the point position as a true freshman and has been directing the Wildcats’ offense ever since.

Lathon, a four-star prospect ranked as the 117th player in the nation, looks at McIntosh’s freshman year and sees that the now-senior averaged 33.3 minutes per game. Lathon knows that that’s a heavy workload and that he has work to do if he wants to reach numbers like that.

That’s a big reason that Lathon decided to transfer to IMG Academy from Grandview (Mo.) in a move he announced earlier this week. “That’s the level I have to have myself at,” said the 6-foot-4 Lathon.

And Lathon believes that IMG is just the type of program that can get him to there.
