Isaiah Bowser’s commitment to Northwestern last week fulfilled two dreams.

The first was to play Power Five college football. The three-star prospect from Sidney (Ohio) had collected nine offers before Northwestern came calling, but they were from Group of Five, Ivy League or FCS schools.

The second and lesser known dream was to play running back, a desire he kept hidden from most college coaches during the recruiting process.
