Ohio State- “They have been calling me and texting me trying to reach out ever since they got the job. I’m sure they are busy doing a lot of work. They’ve definitely reached out a bit
“They were recruiting me at Butler, I was talking mostly to coach (Ryan) Pedon. He just got the (Ohio State) assistant job so he hasn’t had a chance to text yet, but coach (Mike) Schrage and Coach (Chris) Holtmann have texted.”
Michigan- “Michigan is an established place, there’s nothing bad about it. It really seems like a great place. I’m going there officially the 1st of July so I’m really excited about it.”
Northwestern- “They are on the rise and it’s an exciting place to be right now. I love coach Collins and all of the assistants. I’m going there the 27th of June.”
Because of the coaching change in Columbus, Ohio State likely finds themselves playing catch up. With official visits scheduled to Michigan and Northwestern, a commitment appears to be imminent even if Nance isn't quite ready to put a date on it.
“Before the fall for sure," said Nance of when he'll make his choice. "I’m looking for a place where I want to spend my four years and where I have a great fit, obviously, playing on the floor.”
