Northwestern faces first test against Georgetown

After two games against lesser opponents, Northwestern will get its first test against a Power Six conference program on Tuesday night when the Wildcats travel to Washington D.C. to take on Georgetown.

It sounds crazy, but the two schools find themselves in similar positions heading into their Gavitt Tipoff Games (Big Ten vs. Big East) matchup.

Both teams are 2-0 and coming off of losing seasons, both teams have coaches on pretty hot seats, and both teams are using this non-conference clash as a barometer of what their season could shape up to be.

We talked to Ron Bailey of HoyaReport to get an inside look at the Hoyas, who are looking to get their prestigious program back on track.
