Pugh suffers season-ending shoulder injury

A second Northwestern Class of 2017 commitment has suffered a season-ending injury.

Three-star superback Trey Pugh, one of the highest-ranked players in Northwestern’s class, injured his shoulder in a game on Oct. 14 and will miss the rest of the season for Plain City (Ohio) Jonathan Alder. He will not have surgery to repair the shoulder, but his long-term recovery time is uncertain and could stretch from six weeks to six months or more.
