Simmons makes the most of midweek official visit to Northwestern
Derrick Simmons is maximizing his opportunity to take official visits in June.
The three-star defensive tackle from Frankenmuth (Mich.) has taken three of the five official visits he has scheduled for the month. Three of them are the typical weekend timetable, but two others run from Tuesday to Thursday.
He took one of those midweek officials last week to Northwestern. The Wildcats didn't offer Simmons until May 21, but he quickly carved out a place on his busy itinerary for them anyways.
