Alec Pierce is still hoping for a Power Five offer, but at the same time he knows he has to move on and begin to narrow down his current list of offers and schedule official visits.

Pierce, an unranked 2018 wide receiver from Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West, has 16 offers from mostly MAC and FCS schools. Northwestern and Illinois, though, are still recruiting him and want the 6-foot-4, 190-pounder to be patient.

Pierce visited Northwestern for the Bowling Green game in September and is still in the mix for a potential scholarship offer from the Wildcats.
