Simmons, a junior and Northwestern's leading rusher, is one of three Wildcat running backs on the injured list. So Northwestern will have three healthy tailbacks -- freshman Arby Fields and sophomores Scott Concannon and Jacob Schmidt -- for the game against the Orange (6 p.m. CT, ESPN360).
