WRs staff predicts the 2013 season

As we see it, Northwestern will go 10-2 (6-2 Big Ten) in 2013, lose to Wisconsin and Nebraska, finish third in the Legends Division, play in either the Capital One or Outback bowls, and elect Kain Colter as the team MVP.
That's what will happen if the majority votes from WildcatReport's staff predictions were to come to fruition this season.

Aric DiLalla, Louie Vaccher and Larry Watts all see the Wildcats finishing with a 10-2 (6-2) mark, though DiLalla and Vaccher are the only two that think that will be good enough for the Legends crown (albeit in a tie). Watts has them finishing second.
Interestingly, Watts, who is in his sixth decade of covering Northwestern and has seen more losses than anyone, is among the most optimistic about the Wildcats' chances, while Luke Srodulski, just an NU sophomore, is the most pessimistic, picking the Cats to finish 8-4 (4-4).
Three of the six staff members think Northwestern will knock off preseason No. 3 Ohio State on Oct. 5, but five of us figure the Wildcats will lose the following week to Wisconsin in Madison, and four see them losing to Nebraska in Lincoln.
The bowl predictions vary from the Capital One to the Buffalo Wild Wings, but no one is calling for a Rose Bowl berth.
Colter received three MVP votes, while Tyler Scott got two.
Here, then, are our official predictions, which will be revisited with pride or shame come December:
