Making the first NCAA Tournament in school history has made Northwestern the darlings of the Big Dance.

The Wildcats won their first-ever March Madness game on Thursday in heart-pounding fashion, 68-66 over Vanderbilt.

Chances are that any fan who didn't go to Vanderbilt was pulling yesterday for the Wildcats, who have captured the imagination of fans across the country. It will probably be the same on Saturday against No. 1 seed Gonzaga.
