To put it simply, Isaiah Bowser was Sidney (Ohio)'s Justin Jackson.
It's difficult to have a much better senior season than Bowser, one of two Northwestern running back signees in the Class of 2018. He rushed for 2,686 yards and 29 touchdowns in helping Sidney reach the state playoffs for just the second time in school history and the first time since 1989.
As a result, Bowser claimed the 2017 James A. Rhodes Award presented by the Touchdown Club of Columbus as the Ohio High School Football Player of the Year.
For his career, Bowser posted Jackson-like numbers of nearly 5,500 rushing yards and 74 total TDs.
