New Wildcat RB Ronny Johnson stays true to his word
New Northwestern running back commitment Ronny Johnson proved himself to be a man of his word last Friday.
The unranked prospect from Dexter (Mich.) told WildcatReport on Wednesday, two days before his official visit, that if he got an offer from the Wildcats during while in Evanston, he would commit.
"I would love nothing more than to be a Wildcat, honestly," he said.
Johnson got that offer on Friday, the same day he arrived, and committed to head coach David Braun immediately. Once Braun told Johnson they were extending him a scholarship offer, Johnson had only one question: "Can I commit?"
The answer, of course, was yes.
