Northwestern offer gives Texas DE something to think about
Scott Hood

Similar to most elite prospects from the state of Texas given the opportunity to play major college football, 2019 Aledo (Tex.) three-star defensive end Colt Ellison must answer the question posed by a popular 80’s song by The Clash: Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Half of Ellison’s current 10 scholarship offers are from Lone Star State schools - most prominently Baylor, TCU and Texas Tech – but should he ultimately decide to leave the football-obsessed state to play his college football, one school is standing out to him – Northwestern.

The Wildcats offered Ellison on Jan. 24, and he said that the opportunity to play football and graduate from such a prominent Big Ten school has provided him plenty to think about over the coming months.

Ellison talks about the offer and his visit plans in this WildcatReport recruiting story.
